C Bros Joinery were honoured to provide the internal fit-out for the latest Maggie’s centre – adjacent to the large courtyard of St Bart’s Hospital, in the heart of Smithfield, London.
This unique project combined state of the art Architecture by award winning architecture Steven Holl, set on a historically significant site. The space offers free practical, emotional and social support for people with cancer alongside friends and family.
We drew from our unique, varied experience and expertise in creating bespoke joinery projects. Inside the glass clad concrete structure, the interior has been designed using a combination of polished concrete and highly bespoke bamboo pieces.
Key features include a curved feature bamboo balustrade which forms the focal point of the space, a bespoke tailored communal kitchen and dining table, curved fitted benches, a library, and numerous items of loose furniture; chosen for their complimentary design.
